Jessica Allen, LCSW, C-AAIS, AAT-I

Jessica has cultivated a career focused on providing a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming approach and facilitating individualized care for children, teens, and adults.

Jessica specializes in treating behavioral problems, emotional dysregulation, and executive dysfunction related to ADHD, Autism, and Sensory Processing Disorder. In addition, she works with Complex Trauma (C-PTSD), Medical Trauma due to chronic illnesses, Depression, Anxiety, and OCD.

Jessica is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatically-Informed interventions, and IFS-informed parts work.

In her free time Jessica enjoys training her dogs, competing in dog sports, reading, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Certified Animal-Assisted Interventions Specialist

Jessica is certified in Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) through the Association of Animal-Assisted Intervention Professionals (AAAIP) and is required to complete CE hours to maintain her certification. She has taken the extra step to have her animal-assisted therapy practice with her therapy dog professionally evaluated as a special distinction that highlights her dedication to animal welfare and intervention fidelity.

Jessica integrates Animal-Assisted Therapy into multiple evidence-based treatment modalities; such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Psychotherapies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Informed Parts Work.
